Method

Brown the lamb in olive oil, then soften the onion and celery around it.

Add tomato, tomato paste, cinnamon and water and simmer until the lamb is nearly tender.

Stir in the chickpeas and rinsed frik and simmer until the grain is cooked.

Season and finish generously with fresh coriander.
