Fry the potato cubes until tender and golden, then drain.

Cook the onion and chicken with turmeric until the chicken is done; cool slightly.

Beat the eggs with cheese, parsley, harissa and salt, then fold in chicken and potatoes.

Pour into an oiled baking dish and bake at 190°C until firm and golden.

Cool briefly and cut into squares.
Tunisian tajine is an egg-based baked dish, unlike Morocco's slow-cooked stew of the same name.
